Independence man dies in wreck

Authorities have identified the rural Independence man who was killed in rollover car wreck over the weekend in northeast Iowa. Buchanan County authorities say the vehicle driven by 49-year-old Forest Frost failed to negotiate a curve at a rural intersection near town and hit a driveway embankment and crashed in a pasture and caught fire. Frost was pronounced dead at the scene.
