May 7, 2003 By admin

Fire -again- struck a building in downtown Waterloo early today, drawing more suspicion of arson. A resident reported the fire in the Russel-Lamson Building around two AM. The fire likely started on the third floor, causing heavy smoke damage to 15 apartments. 18 residents are getting assistance from the Hawkeye Chapter of the American Red Cross. No injuries are reported. Fire broke out in the same building on the fourth floor two weeks ago.
