Cedar Rapids man charged with drug and animal cruelty crimes

June 5, 2003 By admin

A Cedar Rapids man is facing drug and animal cruelty charges after police discovered him allegedly making meth. Police entered a Cedar Rapids home last night with a search warrant and say they found 22-year-old Justin Ingles making methamphetamine. Some of the chemicals caught fire while officers were taking Ingles into custody, but officers were able to quickly put out the fire. Officers found two dogs and a cat in the home along with drug-making materials. Ingles was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of animal abuse.
