Two Ottumwa classmates killed in accident

Two classmates at Ottumwa High School were killed in a weekend rollover accident. Two young men died early Sunday morning in Wappelo County near Ottumwa. Authorities say 16-year-old Zachary Yates lost control of his vehicle which rolled into a ditch and hit a tree, killing Yates and his passenger, 15-year-old Trenton Shaw. Both boys were from Ottumwa. A grief counseling center has been set up this morning in the school library.
