The northeastern Iowa town known for the “Field of Dreams” is the setting this weekend for another agriculture-related fascination. The 26th annual National Farm Toy Show is underway in Dyersville. Organizer Cathy Scheibe says there are thousands of little metal tractors, wagons, combines and implements to check out.The population of Dyersville is expected to quadruple this weekend as some 15-thousand people attend the annual farm toy show — kids and adults alike. She says some good quality tractors can be had for as little as five dollars, but some collectors will be spending significantly more.Scheibe says spending more than a thousand-dollars isn’t out of the question — or even five times that amount.
