Two arrested on drug chargs in Storm Lake

November 20, 2003 By admin

A tip from Wal-Mart employees in Storm Lake led to the arrest of two people on drug charges. Police say a man was trying to buy products that contain substances used to make meth. A woman had already gone through the check-out and had purchased several medications used in the manufacture of meth. The man was searched and cops found shotgun shells, six cans of mace and a large amount of cash. Cops searched a car and found lots of things used to make meth, as well as a 12-gauge shotgun, drug paraphernalia and 64-hundred dollars in cash. Forty-one-year-old Michael Jarvis and 31-year-old Patricia Meyer — both of Corwith — face multiple drug charges.
