State officials are investigating a shooting yesterday in Webster City. Police Chief Mike McConnell said they were called by the wife of 43-year-old Richard Dean Bradley. McConnell says the woman told them she was threatened by the man. Officers entered the home and Bradley was killed after threatening an officer.He says it ended up the officer had to use deadly force. The officer who shot Bradley, Sergeant Tony Janssen is on paid leave. McConnell says the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation was called in to investigate.He says the D-C-I brought in their drug lab, and says they also brought in the clandestine drug lab. McConnell says they did find evidence of illegal drug use in the house.
