Iowa takes 3-0 record into Wisconsin-Green Bay game

December 2, 2003 By admin

The Iowa basketball team is at home tonight against Wisconsin-Green Bay. The Hawks are 3-0 after Saturday’s win over Louisville and coach Steve Alford says his team needs to avoid a letdown. He says the Louisville game is a big win as long as they take care of business. He says it will be a tough test with four games in seven days wrapped around finals. Alford says Green Bay will see this as a big opportunity. He says they have to hope they put Green Bay in a Big Ten environment with the way they play, in the way they play defensively.Alford says it’s three home games against quality opponents and then the instate game against Northern Iowa.
