The body of a missing northeast Iowa woman has been found in her Jesup home. Authorities found the body of Patricia Rapacki yesterday afternoon after obtaining a warrant to search her home. Officials started looking for the 43-year-old last Tuesday, after her boyfriend led them on a high-speed chase through rural Black Hawk and Bremer counties. The boyfriend, Lynn LaMasters, was driving Rapacki’s car and stabbed himself several times before being captured. LaMasters remains hospitalized in Waterloo. Black Hawk County sheriff’s officials began the search for Rapacki after finding her purse and other personal possessions in the car. In their investigation, officials learned Rapacki had not been seen since December 27th. Last Thursday, deputies found a second car belonging to Rapacki near downtown Waterloo. Authorities aren’t releasing any additional information on her death.
