Iowa streak stopped at five

The Iowa women had their winning streak snapped at five. Ohio State opened the second half with an 11-0 run enroute to a 93-82 win over the Hawkeyes in Iowa City.Iowa coach Lisa Bluder says they played poor defense in the first six minutes of the second half. She says Ohio State played very well in the stretch. The Hawkeyes had led at halftime 40-36. It was a dissapointing performance for the Hawks who entered the game 6-2 in conference play asfter two road wins. She says her team didn’t overlook Ohio State despite their 4-4 conference record coming in. Iowa falls to 12-8 overall.
