An alleged computer hacker was arrested late Tuesday by Iowa State University police. 20-year-old Nicholas Jensen, of Ames, faces a variety of charges, including harassment, electronic eavesdropping and unauthorized computer access. I-S-U police Captain Gene Deisinger says Jensen, who’s a freshman in Computer Engineering at I-S-U, hacked into another person’s e-mail account and was sending messages, pretending to be that person. Computers were seized from Jensen’s dorm room and at his family’s home in Ames. When campus police were in the dorm room, they also arrested Jensen’s roommate, 21-year-old Randall Scheiner of Vinton, for possession of marijuana.
