Cancer Society pass gives golfers access to hundreds of courses

Golfers can get some special deals and help fight cancer with the Midwest Golf Pass. Developed by the American Cancer Society the 35-dollar pass provides free or discounted green fees at courses across the midwest, including more than 150 here in the Hawkeye state. Cori Rude of the American Cancer Society who says 73 new courses have been added to the list this year and the courses in Iowa have been very supportive. She says they now have courses in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Rude says there are a couple of different ways to purchase the golf pass. You can log on to www.cancer.org to buy it on-line or call 1-800-ACS-2345. You can also go into your local Cancer Society office.
