Waterloo loses opener

The Waterloo Bucks will try for their first win of the season tonight against Thunder Bay. The Border Cats rallied past the Bucks 6-5 last night in the Northwoods League opener for both teams.Interim manager Casey Hahn says any loss is not good, but he doesn’t think it sets the tone for the season One of the bright spots last night for the Bucks was Ryan Norman. The Spirit Lake native had three hits, including a two run homer in the first. It continues a hot streak Norman finished the college season on at UNI.
