Carroll County man dies in a farm shop accident

A Carroll County man’s died in a farm shop accident. A man from rural Carroll died Tuesday afternoon following a mechanical accident on his farm.  The victim, 64-year old Carl Gehling was working under his pickup truck.  Investigators from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department say the jack holding the truck slipped, pinning Gehling beneath the vehicle.  Family members discovered him a short time later.  Emergency workers were unable to revive the man.
