The President of Waldorf College in Forest City resigned Tuesday. Reverend Thomas Jolivette says it’s time for the torch to be passed. Jolivette has been Waldorf’s President since 1999 and says one of the things that makes him most proud is the transformation from a two-year school to a four-year college. While making Waldorf a four-year bachelor’s degree college is the thing Jolivette is the most proud of, he says it is also the most challenging thing he encountered in five years at the school.Jolivette says he is confident a good replacement will be found. He’ll remain on until December 1st before heading to his new position with the fundraising team at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, where Jolivette was working before becoming president at Waldorf.
