Two weeks ago Iowa State was hoping to break through and win a Big-12 game, now the Cyclones want to grab a share of the lead in the Big-12 North. The Cyclones beat Kansas 13-7 and host Nebraska this weekend for a chance to grab a share of the division lead. I-S-U coach Dan McCarney says he’s proud of the team and frankly feels they should have three victories in a row after missed field goals cost them the Colorado game. McCarney says the confidence level has risen as there was a good look in his players and coaches eyes from the beginning to the end..The Cyclones are now 4-4 overall.
