UNI hosts Iowa in mat matchup

The UNI wrestling team will host Iowa it’s first home dual meet of the season tomorrow as they entertain Iowa at the UNI-Dome. The 16th ranked Panthers lost 20-14 to Wisconsin in their only dual meet so far this year. 9th ranked Iowa is 1-1 and is coming off a 3-point loss at home to Iowa State. UNI coach Brad Penrith realizes his team will be the underdog. He says the Hawkeyes are favored in eight of the matches, but he doesn’t care. Penrith says his team just has to go in and wrestle. He says regardless of what happens he tells his team to go out and put their best foot forward and wrestle hard.UNI has not defeated Iowa since 1974.
