Tama police investigate possible abduction attempt

Police in the Tama County town of Toledo are investigating what man have been an attempted child abduction. A four-year-old boy was in the process of crossing a street about 6-30 last night when a man in a car pulled up and blocked his path. They boy’s mother was walking nearby and says it appeared the man was going to try and abduct her child. The man saw the woman and drove off as she approached. The man is described as having grey hair and glasses, and was driving an older grey car.
