Sheldon woman dies in car-semi accident

June 23, 2005 By admin

Authorities have released the name of the northwest Iowa woman who was killed in a head-on crash. A Sheldon woman died after a car and semi collided two-and-a-half miles west of Boyden about eight o’clock Wednesday morning. The Sioux County Sheriff’s office says 54-year-old Pamela Kreykes was driving west on highway 18. Kreykes’ car crossed the center line into the path of an eastbound semi driven by 44-year-old Darrell Henager of Jennings, Oklahoma. Kreykes was taken to a Sheldon hospital and then was airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital where she died.
