Storm Lake woman found dead

Storm Lake police says there are no signs of foul play in the death of a woman, whose body was found in her apartment last (Thursday) evening.Officers and paramedics determined 21-year-old Graciela Jimanez was deceased. Police believe Jimenez had been dead for several hours. Her two-year-old son was in the apartment. Police say the boy was not injured and appeared to be healthy. He was checked by paramedics, and released to family members at the scene. Police say there were no signs of foul play at the apartment. Some of Jimenez’ family found her in the apartment when they came to visit. Police and medical examiner investigators processed the scene. The body was taken to Sioux City, where an autopsy will be performed. The cause of death remains unknown.
