Two die in motorcycle accident

September 19, 2005 By admin

Two people were killed in a weekend motorcycle accident in western Iowa’s Audubon County. Shortly after 7:30 Saturday evening, law enforcement authorities were notified of an accident on a county road eight miles east of Exira. Investigators say the accident occurred when a westbound motorcycle operated by 46-year-old Bill Willey of Glidden dropped off the edge of the roadway while rounding a curve and entered the north ditch where the vehicle struck a farm drive, causing it to become airborne. Willey, and a passenger, 45-year-old Jacqueline Beyer of Wall Lake were both killed when they were ejected from the vehicle.
