Drake faces San Diego for PFL lead

Drake coach Rob Ash says it was a productive off-week for his team. Not only did the Bulldogs get some much needed rest they also got right back into the title hunt in the Pioneer Football League North Division race. Ash says it was the perfect outcome to have San Diego beat Dayton and he says it inspired them to prepare.Now the Bulldogs visit a San Diego team that has the division after a surprisingly easy victory at Dayton. Former Michigan and NFL quarterback Jim Harbaugh is the San Diego coach. Ash says San Diego is one of the best teams he’s ever seen in the Pioneer Football League. Ash says will be a tough challenge for his team. He says there’s a lot of excitement in the city about what the team has done.Drake is 3-3 overall. San Diego is 6-1.
