U-N-I coach Mark Farley says injured quarterback Eric Sanders is now day-to-day. Sanders has missed the last two games with an ankle injury suffered in a loss at Missouri State and could play on Saturday when the Panthers host Youngstown State.

Farley says Sanders works out and then he has to be checked for swelling and pain and take care of him first and then get him ready for the football game.

U-N-I is coming off a loss at Illinois State, their second in Gateway Conference play. Farley feels the Panthers are still in the title hunt. He says a lot of things can happen with the games left and he says every team has to be ready to play every week.

U-N-I hosts a Youngstown State team that is tied for the Gateway lead with a 4-0 record. He says Youngstown is playing very good football right now, especially on defense.
