More info released on Denison sister-brother stabbing

March 10, 2006 By admin

Authorities are releasing more information now about a Sunday incident in Denison where a young woman allegedly threw a knife in anger at her 13-year-old brother and it stuck in his chest. Although the names of the individuals involved in the incident were not released in the initial police incident report, court records have identified the girl who allegedly carried out the attack as 16-year-old Kelsie Harris.

Harris’ brother was transported to Crawford County Memorial Hospital before later being transferred to University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha for treatment of his injuries, which are said not to be life threatening. Harris has been charged with willful injury and is currently being held in the Crawford County Jail on 13-thousand dollars bond.
