Dead man found at truckstop in Malcolm

March 24, 2006 By admin

The Poweshiek County Sheriff’s office says an Indiana man was found dead at a central Iowa truck stop early this (Friday) morning. A 9-1-1 call summoned deputies just after midnight at the Fuel Mart Truck Stop on Highway 63 in Malcom.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He’s identified as 40-year-old William David Holland of Plymouth, Indiana.
Holland’s body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office in Des Moines. The cause of death is thought to be medical but the investigation is still open pending an autopsy.
