July 11, 2006 By admin

Military officials have arrested an Iowan accused of being away from his duty without leave. Grinnell police and Poweshiek County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man they say is a military deserter.

Sunday afternoon they arrested 20-year-old Joseph Charles Carter, a private in the U.S. Army and took him to the county jail, awaiting military MPs to take him to a military facility.
