Two killed in early morning crash on Hwy 34

July 25, 2006 By admin

A crash in western Iowa’s Mills county early this morning claimed the lives of two people.

The Iowa State Patrol reports 20-year old Sheena Marie Haven of Glenwood and 28-year old Brian Thomas Wise of Council Bluffs died when — for unknown reasons — the vehicle Wise was driving left the road and rolled a number of times into a ditch off of Highway 34. The accident happened at around 2:40 a.m., west of Glenwood.

Troopers says Wise was ejected from the car, which burst into flames while Haven was still trapped inside. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
