Three people have now died as the result of a head-on collision yesterday morning (Thursday) in northwest Iowa. The accident occurred east of Meriden on Highway 3 in Cherokee County. The Sheriff’s Department reports the collision took the life of 81-year-old Robert Ehrig of Meriden, 82-year-old Arlene Ehrig and 17-year-old Richard Jacob Geerdes of Cleghorn.
