Second man charged in Waterloo girl’s death

November 14, 2006 By admin

A second man is charged in the recent death of a Waterloo teenager.Illinois prosecutors have filed charges against David Damm of Waterloo, accusing him of first-degree murder and solicitation of murder.

Authorities believe Damm was involved in the killing of 13-year-old Donnisha Hill, who was last seen on October 27th getting off a school bus in Waterloo. Hill was found dead the next morning in a rural area of northwestern Illinois. Days later, prosecutors charged another Waterloo man , Bruce Burt, for the killing.

Investigators believe Damm asked Burt to murder the teenager, but they haven’t given a motive for the killing. Police say Damm lived next door to Hill. Damm was taken into custody on a probation violation shortly after Hill’s body was found. He’s in the Black Hawk County Jail in Waterloo, awaiting extradition to Illinois.
