Supreme Court suspends license of Orange City attorney

January 30, 2007 By admin

The Iowa Supreme Court has suspended the license of an Orange City attorney. On-line court documents say Andrea Van Beek’s license was lifted on January 12. The court says she was arrested in December for Operating While Intoxicated.

Three attorneys filed reports that she was intoxicated at a county attorneys’ golf outing back in September and Van Beek admitted to being s drunk on December 28 of last year that she fell, outside her law office, and needed help to get back up. The state supreme court has suspended her law license until that court orders it reinstated.
