Little info available on Northeast Iowa shooting

Little information is being released about a shooting Sunday in the northeast Iowa town of Ossian.

Calmar/Ossian police Chief Ron Werner says authorities were notified around 5:30 yesterday morning of the shooting which occurred at a home in Ossian.

Werner says the wounded subject was taken by ambulance to Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah and later transferred to Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse. The investigation is ongoing. Authorities are releasing no other details at this time.
