Alexander teen dies in one-car wreck

A 17-year-old Alexander girl died early Sunday morning as the result of a one-car accident in Wright County. The Iowa State Patrol reported the name of the victim as Jody Amber Priestly.

The accident happened on Highway 69 northeast of Clarion. The Priestly car was heading northbound when it lost control, entered the east ditch where it then rolled and the driver was ejected.
