Autopsy to be performed on two-month old baby who died at babysitter’s

September 6, 2007 By admin

An autopsy is scheduled today for a two-month-old Dubuque County child who died while being watched by a daycare provider.

Emergency workers were called out Tuesday afternoon to the Tara Engler resident in rural Key West on the report of an unresponsive infant. The Thirty-two-year-old Engler operates an in-home daycare.

The child, identified, as Landon Davis of rural Zwingle, was taken to Finley Hospital in Dubuque, where he was pronounced dead. His parents are Kellie Spark and Scott Davis of rural Zwingle.

The Dubuque County Sheriff says an autopsy will be performed today to try and determine how the child died.
