Two die in Hardin County accident

September 20, 2007 By admin

A fatal crash in north-central Iowa is under investigation. The Iowa State Patrol and the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department investigated a one vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon on a Hardin County road that killed two people and brought injuries to four individuals.

The injured were taken to Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls. The names of the fatalities and the injured are being withheld until a positive identification can be made.

Reportedly the southbound truck was on county road D-35 north of Eldora when it failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road and rolled into the west ditch. Cause of the accident in Hardin County remains under investigation.
