Former Iowa linebacker helps Viking resurgence

December 3, 2007 By admin

Former Iowa linebacker Chad Greenway is making an impact as the Minnesota Viking have put themselves back into playoff contention. The Viking are 6-6 after Sunday’s victory over the Detroit Lions. Greenway is currently the Vikings’ third leading tackler.

Greenway says everyone in the lockerroom has been on the same page, and losing a couple of close games may’ve been a wakeup call. He says they just have to keep their foot on the gas and not let up.

Greenway says there is a long way to go. He says 6-6 just means they have one more win and need to keep winning.
