B-V men 6-1 as they head to final exams

December 13, 2007 By admin

The Buena Vista men’s basketball team is 6-1 as a break for final exams is about to end. Coach Brian Van Haaften has an experienced team that also has a lot of depth. He says they’ve played 10 or 11 guys who are all juniors and seniors and have high expectations.

Van Haaften says one of their biggest strengths is how they play as a team. He says they are a great group that gets along as well as any team he’s ever had. Van Haaften says they haven’t played the best they can play yet, but have done a lot of little things well.

The Beavers embark on a holiday trip this weekend. They play Saturday in Kansas City, and then fly out to play in Philadelphia and New Jersey.
