Two children dead in Ottumwa house fire

Fire has claimed two young lives in Ottumwa. Two small children were killed early this morning in a housefire on the city’s south side. The children were nine-months old and one-year old.

The older two-story home was destroyed. The parents of the victims are hospitalized at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No names were released.
