Ellsworth man’s murder trial delayed

February 14, 2008 By admin

The trial of the Ellsworth man accused of killing his brother last December has been delayed in Hamilton County District Court. 25-year-old Michael Anthony Lindseth made an appearance Tuesday before District Court Judge Timothy Finn on a charge of First Degree Murder filed against him.

Lindseth waived his right to a speedy trial. The trial was to have started next Tuesday in the Hamilton County Courthouse in Webster City. It now appears that the trial could begin this August. Michael Lindseth is accused of murdering 24-year-old Douglas Lindseth at the family home near Ellsworth on December Third.
