Electrolux workers in Webster City approve contract

Workers at Hamilton County’s largest employer approved a new three-year contract on Saturday. The members of United Auto Workers Local 442 voted for the new deal with Electrolux Home Products of Webster City. Details on the language of the new contract and the final vote were not released.

Tentative agreement on the contract was reached late Friday afternoon. The old contract expired last Saturday morning. U-A-W local President Paul Eriksen sad there are about 12-hundred members of the Union which make the line of washers and dryers each day.
