Sioux City man charged with killing his wife

December 22, 2008 By admin

A Sioux City woman is dead and her husband is charged with first degree murder following a domestic dispute at their home early Monday morning. The victim is identified as 44 year-old Susan Sohler. Her husband, 49-year-old Timothy Sohler is being held in the Woodbury County Jail.

Sioux City Police Chief Joe Frisbee says Susan was stabbed multiple times. He declined to say what led to the stabbing. “We’re still trying to sort those facts out, but we do have enough facts about the incident to be very clear that it was a homicide,” Frisbee said.

The Sohler’s 13-year-old daughter called 9-1-1 shortly after 6 a.m. asking for help.
