Drake travels to Indiana State

February 11, 2009 By admin

The Drake Bulldogs are on the road in the Valley tonight to take on Indiana State. The Bulldogs won the first matchup with the Sycamores 69-50 in Des Moines but coach Mark Phelps says that will be no factor in this game. He says every game is different, as teams change as the season moves along and Indiana State is playing good basketball right now.

Indiana State is just 3-10 in the Valley but is coming off an overtime win at Illinois State. Phelps says they are playing with confidence. The Bulldogs are 6-7 in the Valley and 15-10 overall.
