Class 1A: Josh Van Wyk: Lynnville-Sully

The senior was a standout in nearly every phase for the Hawks. In four games he was nine-for-12 at the plate with three triples, a home run and three RBI. He also walked five times, stole eight bases and scored 11 runs. In a victory over Tri-County, Van Wyk was three-for-three with a homer, a triple, two stolen bases and scored five runs. He also finished 1-1 on the mound and in 14 innings of work struck out 20 batters.
