Iowa State snapped a lengthy road losing streak with a 34-14 win at Kent State. It was ISU’s first win on the road since a 42-14 victory at Texas A@M back in 2005.

Iowa State coach Paul Rhoads says they have a very happy football team after exercising some demons on the road. He says the Cyclone defense played well, doing a fantastic job on third down. He says when you play well on third down and can get off the field on defense, you can win. Rhoads says the defense continues to improve.

The Cyclones finished with 404 yards of offense to 302 for Kent State. The Cyclones are 2-1 and next up host Army on Saturday night.
