Minnesota woman dies in northwest Iowa accident

April 1, 2011 By Radio Iowa Contributor

One person died, another was injured, in a traffic accident in northwest Iowa Thursday afternoon. The Iowa State Patrol reports 62-year-old Gerry Eileen Olson of Plymouth, Minnesota, possibly suffered some sort of medical condition as she was driving on Highway 75, south of Merrill.

The sport utility vehicle traveled into the median and rolled. Her passenger, 62-year-old Marian Olson, also of Plymouth, Minnesota, was taken to a Sioux City Hospital.
