Teen killed in Marshall County crash

August 2, 2011 By Radio Iowa Contributor

A teenager was killed Monday in a two vehicle accident in Marshall County. The victim was identified as 16-year-old Mason Stephens of LeGrand.

Authorities say Stephens’ pickup collided with a semi driven by 51-year-old Scott Schneiderman at the intersection of two Marshall County roads just after 8 a.m. Schneiderman was not injured.

An autopsy has been ordered, and the continuing investigation will include an inspection of the semi as required by Iowa law.
