August 4, 2011 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Marshall County has seen its second fatal traffic accident this week. The victim was identified ad 57-year-old Victor Veren of Melbourne.

His pickup truck was apparently southbound on a Marshall County road just before 5:30 this morning when it left the roadway, went into the ditch, and rolled several times. Veren was pronounced dead at the scene, and the county medical examiner’s office will conduct a further investigation.

Sixteen-year-old Mason Stephens of LeGrand was killed in a two-vehicle accident Monday morning in Marshall County.
