Colorado woman found dead in West Lake Okoboji

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office has released additional information into a drowning that took place on West Lake Okoboji. The victim is identified as 46-year-old Jennifer Galagher of Denver, Colorado.

Authorities were called to the scene Tuesday morning after a family member reported Galagher missing. She had been swimming the previous night. Shortly after contacting authorities, a family member found Galagher under a nearby dock. Medical personnel pronounced her dead at the scene.
