Death of Clarksville man called a homicide

October 8, 2012 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Little information is being released about the slaying of a former Clarksville grocery store owner who was found dead in his northeast Iowa home. Authorities in Chickasaw County are investigating the death of 70-year-old Carl Ken Gallmeyer as a homicide.

His body was found Thursday in his home near Nashua. The D.C.I. is also looking into the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 641-394-3121.
