Name released in “suspicious death” in Cedar Falls

January 25, 2013 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Cedar Falls police have released the name of a man found dead outside a condo complex.

Forty-two-year-old Daron Lee Jungers was spotted by a passerby yesterday morning inside a car the parking lot of the Fountain at Greenhill complex in Cedar Falls.

Jungers was unresponsive when police arrived and pronounced dead. Police say they found some chemicals inside Jungers’ car, and now say the exposure to those chemicals may have been intentional.

An autopsy will be performed to find out exactly what killed Jungers, who was a resident of the complex where he was found.
