August 13, 2013 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Authorities have released the name of the eastern Iowa woman who was killed in a crash last night in Clinton County. Iowa Highway Patrol accident reports show that 46-year-old Carol Joyce Remrey of Oxford Junction was driving the car in a rural area northwest of DeWitt when she lost control of the car and it went into the south ditch, flipping several times, and came to rest on the roof.

Remrey was killed in the crash. A passenger, 46-year-old Paul Waltemeyer of Marshalltown, was injured and airlifted to University Hospitals in Iowa City. The accident remains under investigation.
